Ants(蚁)

Wire and walnuts, dimensions variable, 2024 — a fragile procession turns weight, cooperation, and persistence into a collective choreography.

A procession of hand-formed wire bodies carries walnuts across the floor. Enlarging a nearly invisible social choreography, the work turns weight, cooperation, and persistence into a fragile comic monument.
By using a humble food object as both burden and body, Ants asks when labour becomes collective intelligence—and when survival begins to resemble ritual.
